Alex is a forward-thinking video editor and visual storyteller, with a drive for striking a connection with his audience no matter what project he’s on. For over ten years, he’s utilized his talents to edit on-air commercials, media trailers, and social videos for multiple brands including Nickelodeon, Paramount, ADP, MTV and Liberty Science Center.
While he loves working off of scripts and storyboards, he’s been called a magician for finessing larger and more abstract ideas into a “a gallery wall” of art, using montages, interviews and authentic emotions to make even a five second spot something to resonate and stick with viewers.
Outside of the editing software, Alex has been a nonprofit board member, photographer, and world adventurer. Formerly the Vice President of the Blue Collar Post Collective, he thrived on making connections with post-production professionals and creating spaces for them to foster conversations in natural ways.
He currently runs Ginkgo Lens Photography with his wife, a portrait photography studio focused on capturing authenticity for couples, families and pets.
